The Ukrainian military has destroyed the Russian Pole-21 electronic warfare system, the commander of the Tavriya Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, Oleksandr Tarnavskyy, has said on Telegram.
"A Pole-21 electronic warfare station designed to suppress satellite navigation channels has been destroyed," he said in a statement.
The place and time are not disclosed.
Pole-21 is a Russian electronic warfare system called the "dome against drones". The system, created in 2016, is designed to combat high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles.
The system is capable of creating a "dome" of interference and thereby suppressing the equipment from linking to global satellite and radio navigation systems.
