President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy is convinced that Russia and Iran sponsor the Hamas terrorist group.
"This situation is not new. The fire between Israel and Palestine is already burning, and some people are throwing matches into this fire. I'm sure that Russia sponsored Hamas, and Iran did too," Zelenskyy said in an interview with NBC News.
He added that "the whole world must do everything possible to stop this war" in the Middle East.
Zelenskyy said he was "ready to go to Israel today". However, the visit will depend on "what is happening on the battlefield" in Ukraine and whether it is possible to bring Ukrainian citizens "stuck" in Israel back home.
Zelenskyy planned to visit Israel next week, but the trip was postponed due to a media leak.
Earlier, the Israeli media reported that Zelenskyy intended to visit Israel next week. The visit was supposed to take place on 6-7 November.
