The Ukrzaliznytsia app has been integrated with Diia to combat overbuying. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
"UZ continues its systematic fight against ticket fraud so that Ukrainians do not overpay and do not look for alternative travel options. Now you can buy a ticket for the most popular train Kyiv - Warsaw in the Ukrzaliznytsia app only with Diia.Signature," the minister said.
He noted that verifying your account through Diia will confirm that you are a real person. Therefore, if tickets are bought and returned en masse from the account, it will be blocked after verification. And the person will no longer be able to buy a ticket online, even if they uninstall the app and try to pass verification through another device. So only real users will be able to buy tickets.
"Also, recently, to return international tickets, one had to go to the railway station, stand in line, write an application, and wait up to six months for a refund. Thanks to Diia.Signature, this is a thing of the past. You can do everything in the UZ app in a few seconds," said Mikhail Fedorov.
