There are 4,337 Ukrainians in Russian captivity, including 3,574 military and 763 civilians, according to the website of the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
The commission for establishing the fact of deprivation of personal liberty as a result of Russia's armed aggression against Ukraine entered this data into the relevant state register.
Earlier, the Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War stated that Russia does not provide information about the places and conditions of detention of Ukrainian prisoners. Also, nothing is known about their health status.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion on 7 August, 2,598 Ukrainian soldiers have been returned from Russian captivity.
