On the night of 18 November, Russians attacked from the north and southeast with 38 Shahed attack UAVs, the Air Force Command of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has said.
"From 20:00 on 17 November to 04:00 on 18 November 2023, the Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine from the north and south-eastern directions (Kursk Region, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russian Federation) with Shahed attack UAVs. A total of 38 Shahed-136/131 attack drones were launched," the Air Force reported.
The Shaheds came in several waves, in groups to different regions of Ukraine in the areas of responsibility of all air commands of the Air Force.
Aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, mobile fire groups of the Air Force and the Defence Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the air attack.
