Finland has decided to provide Ukraine with a new defence aid package. It will include additional defence equipment worth about 100 million euros.
This is the 20th defence package that Helsinki has allocated to Ukraine, according to the website of the Finnish Ministry of Defence.
"For operational reasons and to ensure that the aid reaches its destination safely, no further information about the contents of the package, the method of delivery or the schedule will be provided," it said.
In total, the country has already provided aid to Ukraine worth 1.5 billion euros.
"What is at stake in Ukraine's defence struggle is the security environment outlook on Europe and Finland in the current decade. Together with our allies, we remain unwavering in our commitment to support Ukrainians," said Minister of Defence Antti Häkkänen.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy thanked Finland for the new support.
