The Defence Forces have managed to gain a foothold in several areas on the left bank of the Dnipro River in the Kherson sector. Ukrainian troops continue to hold their positions, repelled six Russian attacks and are taking measures to expand the territory under their control. There were 53 combat engagements over the last day, according to the evening report by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In total, Russia launched one missile and 24 air strikes, fired 18 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements. In addition, the Russian Federation conducted another air strike against Ukraine using Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs. As a result of combat operations, air defence forces and means destroyed nine attack UAVs.
The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.
