Ukraine has received lacking missiles for its existing air defence systems and new, modern anti-aircraft systems, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said following a conference call.

He expressed his gratitude to Ukraine's friends and said that the implementation of important defence agreements is ongoing. Increasing domestic production has also brought fruit.

"For the first time, we have reached the figure of six Bohdana [self-propelled howitzers] per month. And we already see how to increase it further," he said.

The grain corridor is also working, with 7 million tonnes of cargo already shipped through it, he added.

"I also received intelligence reports, reports from the frontline. Defensive battles in the Bakhmut and Avdiyivka sectors, active operations in the south. Kherson. The emergency services, the regional and city military administrations are addressing the consequences of another barbaric shelling and helping the victims. And the defence forces are implementing a plan to deny the enemy the opportunity and desire to terrorise the city," Zelenskyy added.
