In Kyiv, a high-rise building in the Solomyanskyy district was damaged in a night attack by Russian Shaheds. There was a fire on the upper floors, partial destruction of walls in three apartments and broken windows in three more.
According to preliminary reports, two of the victims suffered soft tissue bruises and cut wounds, and one of them was hospitalised. This was reported by the head of the KCMA, Serhiy Popko, at 5:21 am.
Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko said that the shelling in Solomyanskyy district partially destroyed the load-bearing walls between the 24th, 25th and 26th floors of a residential building. One injured resident of the high-rise building was hospitalised, and another was treated on the spot.
In the morning, it was reported on TV that one of the destroyed apartments belonged to Andrey Kovalev, a telethon presenter. He and his two young children and wife managed to survive.
In Darnytsya district, a fire broke out in a two-storey unfinished private house as a result of the fall of drone debris. There were no casualties.
"In Holosiyivskyy district a piece of debris fell without causing any damage or injuries," Popko added.

This is the third attack on Kyiv in six days. According to the Air Force, Russia attacked Ukraine with 28 Shahed attack drones. Twenty-four were shot down.
