Deputy Minister of Defence for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalisation Kateryna Chernohorenko said that the ministry had completed the verification of the Oberih register of persons liable for military service, ArmyInform news agency reported.
The next step is to create a document confirming the status of a person liable for military service.
At a closed meeting with representatives of the G7 countries in Kyiv to mark the first hundred days of the new leadership of the Ministry of Defence, Kateryna Chernohorenko said that online services for the military and the verification of the Oberih register of persons liable for military service were a priority during this period.
"Previously, people could receive calls for service several times, and they were received by citizens who were unfit for service or even by relatives of the deceased. Thanks to verification with other state registers, we have increased the quality of data filling from 27% to 88%, removed duplicates and irrelevant data," Chernohorenko said.
According to her, the Ministry plans to launch new electronic services based on the register of persons liable for military service. For example, an online booking service that will have an anti-corruption effect.
The deputy minister added that the development and creation of a register of military personnel is also in progress: "We will understand and control the entire list of personnel in order to be even faster and develop social capital.”
