The Interior Ministry has created and is constantly updating a special information database called "War Criminal". Currently, there are nearly 250,000 entries containing the names of Russian servicemen, representatives of illegal armed groups and collaborators, Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko has said.

According to him, the Interior Ministry is actively cooperating with foreign colleagues, sharing information through Europol and Interpol channels.

Ukrainian law enforcers have opened more than 105,000 criminal proceedings into war crimes committed by the Russian army. More than 90,000 of them concern violations of the laws and customs of war.

"The vast majority of proceedings have been transferred to the SBU [Security Service of Ukraine]. However, some large-scale cases - such as the occupiers' atrocities against civilians in Bucha and Irpin - are being investigated by police," Klymenko added.
