Ukrainian hackers have paralysed the popular 1C accounting system in Russia, the press service of the Ukrainian Ministry of Digital Transformation has said.
"Minus the EPR system in Russia. The IT Army has paralysed the work of 1C-Rarus. One of the largest ERP systems in Russia has stopped working due to attacks by the Ukrainian IT Army," it said.
It is noted that customers cannot use accounting services and work at full capacity.
1C-Rarus has 150,000 users, including such tech giants and war sponsors as Tatneft and VTB.
Customers of shops and petrol stations cannot make payments because the cash registers are down. This means millions in losses for the Russian economy, the ministry noted.
