"Somewhere they have determined the direction of the main attack, somewhere they have created a diversionary attack. So, as for Avdiyivka, it is in the direction of their main attack. Mariyinka is another direction. Novomykhaylivka, for example, is a diversionary direction. The Novopavlivka direction also has its own purpose," the general explained.
Regarding the situation around Robotyne, the general noted that this is the area where the enemy suffered losses in the territory where it is currently pressing and conducting active assault operations.
"But during the enemy's offensive in any area, believe me, there are both positive and negative consequences for them. They are trying to succeed, and it is important for us to hold on and give a direct response," Tarnavskyy said.
