The Southern defence forces reported that Russians attacked the southern Regions with Shaheds overnight. There were 2 waves of attacks with an interval of 15 minutes, which amounted to 7 hours of intense combat work.
Air defence forces destroyed 17 kamikaze drones:
- 12 in Odesa Region
- 3 in Mykolayiv Region
- 2 in Vinnytsya Region.
The enemy attacked Kherson with a concentrated attack, damaging a shopping centre and apartment buildings. The warehouses of an agricultural research institution were also hit. Information on the victims is being updated.
In Odesa Region, the enemy focused on attacking the regional centre. Air defence forces downed all enemy targets. The wreckage of the downed UAVs fell on one of the uninhabited new buildings.
A drone shot down in mid-air also crashed into country houses in the suburbs of Odesa. A fire broke out and has been extinguished. One person died and three were injured, including a 17-year-old teenager.
According to the Prosecutor General's Office, two people died. The RMA clarified that one person died on the spot, and another man died as a result of injuries in hospital. The teenager remains in hospital, while the woman and man are being treated on an outpatient basis.
