Three Russian missiles shot down in Khmelnytskyy Region this morning

The local authorities said the attack caused casualties.

The Russian army attacked Khmelnytskyy Region in the morning. At least six explosions were heard during the attack, the regional military administration said on Telegram.

At least two people were killed, the authorities said in a later update.

"Our air defence forces shot down two missiles in Khmelnytskyy Region during the air alert this morning. At the same time, the enemy struck at the infrastructure facilities of the region. There is a fire, which is being localised by the State Emergency Service. Unfortunately, we already have two dead people," they said.

The first deputy head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Tyurin, said that according to updated information, air defence forces shot down three missiles in the region.

As for the casualties, two wounded persons are undergoing outpatient treatment.

"In addition, we are still searching for another person who, according to preliminary information, was supposed to be at the facility, but with whom we lost contact. We hope that he will be found unharmed," added Tyurin.
