The government has appointed Petro Kotin, president of the state-owned National Atomic Enery Company Energoatom, as acting board chairman of the newly created National Atomic Enery Company Energoatom JSC.

This is stated in the Cabinet of Ministers' Resolution No. 1420 of 29 December 2023.

In addition, Hartmut Jaсob, Yuriy Sheyko and Oleksandr Ostapovets were appointed as acting board members.

The resolution states that the company is the legal successor to all property and non-property rights and obligations of the state-owned company Energoatom. In turn, its separate divisions continue to function as separate divisions of the company.

The government also decided to issue shares of Energoatom, with the planned authorised capital of UAH 306,245,378,000.
