Speaking at a press conference in Vilnius on Wednesday (10 January), Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that there are currently problems with production and Ukraine lacks modern air defence systems. However, Ukraine has managed to increase domestic production of drones, Interfax Ukraine reports.

"Air defence systems are No 1 thing we lack. The fight against drones. I am glad that we have agreements with Lithuania and many other partners as well. The production of our drones, I will not talk about the number now, but we are increasing our domestic production," Zelenskyy said.

Ukraine has launched a joint partnership with the United States and continues to cooperate with European partners.

Zelenskyy added: "We will do this constantly, we will not wait until the entire shortage is covered by itself."

For his part, Lithuanian President Gintaras Nausėda noted the signing of military agreements with Ukraine.

"I think that this is the way we have to go, because we see that there is a lot of money on the arms market, quite a lot of money, but very little production capacity to be able to produce the product," the Lithuanian leader said.
