Ukraine's Defence Minister Rustem Umerov has suggested creating an international working group at the level of defence ministers and national security advisers to develop a mechanism for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukraine.
The defence minister made the proposal at the fourth meeting of national security advisers on the Peace Formula in Switzerland, he said on Facebook.
Umerov presented the sixth point of the Ukrainian Peace Formula to his colleagues: "Withdrawal of Russian troops from the territory of Ukraine". He added that the Peace Formula, proposed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, already brings together 83 countries.
The minister pointed out that it is impossible to talk about the restoration of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity without the complete withdrawal and disarmament of Russian troops and terrorist organisations from the occupied territories of our country.
