The attack on the energy infrastructure of Kryvyy Rih on 3 February was one of the most massive attacks on the energy sector over the year, Ukrenergo has reported.
On the night of 3 February, repair efforts were interrupted by a Russian drone attack on high-voltage power facilities.
"The restoration work was not easy: since the attacks reduced the reliability of power supply to the damaged power unit, repair crews had to restore electricity to consumers in the region twice during the day," Ukrenergo said.
The company also noted that yesterday's attack on the energy infrastructure of Kryvyy Rih was the third in a week and one of the most massive ones over the year.
"This is a reminder that the enemy has never given up trying to resume the energy terror that began in 2022. The task of the Russians is clear: terror against civilians, creating problems for the industry and the economy," the energy company added.
On 3 February, 15,000 residents of Kryvyy Rih and two boiler houses lost power supply due to the Shahed attack.
