On the night of 8 February, Russians attacked Mykolayiv with a Shahed 131/136 UAV, said Vitaliy Kim, head of the Mykolayiv RMA.
As a result of the strikes, a fire broke out on the territory of an industrial enterprise and a private house. The fires were promptly extinguished by the State Emergency Service. Apartment blocks and a sports facility were also damaged. No one was injured.
Later, it was reported that the overnight attack on the city by UAVs had damaged the airline of Mykolayiv CHP. Specialists are working on the site to repair the damage. Temporarily, 9 residential buildings were left without
heating. The specialists plan to complete the work by 17:00.
In addition, in the morning of 7 February at 07:56 and 08:54, Russians fired artillery shells at the water area of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.Also yesterday at 09:14, a settlement of the Kutsurubska community was attacked by Russian UAV, and at 09:25 the enemy sent an FPV drone along the coastline of the Kutsurubska community. There were no casualties.
At 10:05, 10:51 and 15:48, enemy artillery shelling was recorded in the settlements of the Kutsurubska community. As a result, a residential building was damaged. There were no casualties.
On the night of 8 February, air defence forces and equipment destroyed three Shahed 131/136 UAVs in Mykolayiv Region.
