Tavriya spokesperson denies Russians' PSYOP on allegedly hitting training ground with Ukrainian soldiers near Selydove

Dmytro Lykhoviy noted that the Russians had launched the PSYOP even before the strikes on Selydove and the surrounding area. He also noted that there can be no "training grounds" within 20 km of the front line.

The spokesperson for the Tavriya operational-strategic group, Dmytro Lykhoviy, said that on 13 February, the Russians began to launch a classic PSYOP, allegedly hitting a "training ground" with Ukrainian military, including soldiers of the 3rd Assault Brigade.

The occupiers claim to have killed between 200 and 1,500 soldiers. They say, "this is how the new Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine starts".

"Now we can say for sure that this Russian lie has outstripped the main Russian missile strikes on Selydove and the surrounding area. Due to the Russian mess, the Ipsos 'shot' was premature and turned out to be a blank. The Russian team was put in front of the horse," Lykhovoy wrote.

He noted that the public relations department of the Tavriya Brigade, which includes Selydove, interviewed the brigades of the Avdiyivka and Donetsk directions and received a refutation from them: there were no such losses or incidents in the area of Selydove.

"And if you think about it. What kind of "training ground" is 20 kilometres from the front line? What formations, gatherings? This is not there and cannot be. Just like there are no military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Selydove, which Moscow propaganda lies about," wrote the spokesman for the Tavriya operational-strategic group.
