The Russian army is pulling its reserves to the Kharkiv direction, with the main goal of capturing Kupyansk, Illya Yevlash, spokesman for the Khortytsya Operational and Strategic Group of Forces, has told the news telethon.
According to Yevlash, the situation in the Kupyansk sector remains difficult. Russians are is deploying heavy equipment and increasing the number of personnel there, sparing no effort. The Russian army is also strengthening the border line and reinforcing its reserves with Russian Guard units near Kupyansk.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces, in turn, are actively using FPV drones, destroying up to 60% of enemy equipment during the offensive, the spokesman said.
"We have occupied quite powerful fortifications, built a defence line in the Lyman-Kupyansk direction near Kupyansk, and equipped a lot of engineering structures," said Yevlash.
