As of the morning of 27 February, about 2,100 trucks were blocked in queues at six checkpoints in Poland. This was reported by the spokesman for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS), Andriy Demchenko, during the telethon.

He added that the strikers are currently blocking only trucks, while other categories of transport are not.

"There were days when they extended their actions for several hours, including cars and buses. Cross-border traffic was hampered in some areas, but in general, traffic for this category is free both towards Poland and those travelling towards our country," Demchenko said.

The blockade continues at six checkpoints: Yahodyn, Ustyluh, Uhryniv, Rava-Ruska, Krakivets and Shehyni. According to Demchenko, the biggest number of people is in front of Krakivets, Rava-Ruska and Yahodyn checkpoints.

"Polish farmers let a small number of trucks pass both towards Ukraine and Poland. Critically low figures are recorded at two checkpoints - Shehyni (about 50 trucks crossed the border in both directions on 26 February) and Yahodyn (almost 100 trucks crossed to Ukraine with a capacity of 1200-1400 vehicles in both directions, none to Poland)," the SBGS spokesman added.
