Ten out of ten: Air defence shoots down all Russia-launched Shaheds at night

Debris damaged a transformer at an infrastructure facility in Odesa Region. There were no casualties. 

Last night, the Russian army attacked Ukraine with S-300 missiles and Shahed attack drones. The enemy launched anti-aircraft guided missiles from the occupied Donetsk Region, and UAVs from Russian territory, from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk area.

The defenders shot down all ten drones, the Air Force said. All of them were flying over Mykolayiv and Odesa Regions.

"As a result of an anti-aircraft battle, mobile firing groups of the Defence Forces and anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force destroyed 10 Shaheds within Odesa and Mykolayiv Regions," the statement said.

The air defence system worked intensively for 1.5 hours. One Shahed was downed in Mykolayiv Region, the rest - in Odesa Region, according to the Southern Defence Forces on the Odesa. Officially channel.

"During drone manoeuvres over the industrial zone of Odesa, the wreckage of a downed drone damaged a transformer of a critical infrastructure facility. It was short-circuited and caught fire. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. No one was injured," the statement said.
