Almost half of men of conscription age (48.1%) are not ready to be mobilised. Instead, 35% of men are ready to join the Armed Forces of Ukraine. These are the results of a survey conducted by Info Sapiens research agency, commissioned by Texty.org.ua.

The main motive is predictable and understandable - the desire to defend the homeland. Interestingly, revenge on the enemy is also a significant motivation. And, although a third of the men say they are tired of everyday life, they are obviously not averse to changing it to the army. They did not specify which aspects of "everyday life" were tiring.

Half of the respondents expressed their readiness to serve if they received summons. They also did not specify whether it should come in the form of summons from a TCC patrol on the streets or to the post office.

However, income does not play an important role.

Among the main reasons demotivating Ukrainian men to join the Armed Forces were insufficient financial support (65.6%), the possibility of disability or death (64.1%), uncertainty of service (63.8%) and the likelihood of being assigned to a bad commander (59.6%).

At the same time, the likelihood of getting under a "bad" commander scares respondents more than captivity - 59.6% vs. 50.8%.
