Belgium will finance the Czech initiative to purchase 800,000 shells for Ukraine outside Europe with €200 million to provide greater support to the Ukrainian army, Belgian Prime Minister Alexander de Croo has said.
"We can never match the sacrifice Ukraine is making every day. But we can give President Zelenskyy what he requested- more ammunition to fend off the Russian agressor. Belgium will fund the Czech initiative for 200 million €. More ammunition is coming in the next weeks," he tweeted.
