Albania plans to open an embassy in Kyiv in the near future, Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and his Albanian counterpart Igli Hasani discussed during a meeting in Tirana.
"I greatly appreciate this decision, which will significantly boost our bilateral ties," Kuleba tweeted.
He thanked Albania for its firm support and solidarity with Ukraine.
"We identified ways to strengthen defence cooperation, with a particular emphasis on artillery ammunition," the Ukrainian diplomat added.
Albania is also ready to join the Core Group on the special tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine, Kuleba added.
