President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a law on the demobilisation of conscripts.
This is reflected in the card of document No. 11035 "Draft Law on Amendments to Chapter XII "Final Provisions" of the Law of Ukraine "On Military Duty and Military Service" regarding the Terms of Conscript Service".
Parliament passed the bill on 23 February. It concerns the demobilisation of conscripts who have completed their terms of service in 2024. During martial law, they will be given the option of retirement.
The document was sent to Zelenskyy on 26 February for him to sign, which he did without delay. immediately.
