On the night of 2 March, Russia attacked Ukraine with three Kh-59/Kh-35 guided missiles from occupied territories of Kherson and Donetsk regions and 17 Shahed attack drones from Russia's Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Crimea's Balakliya, Ukraine's Air Force said.
Anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defence Forces were involved in repelling the air attack. Air defence forces destroyed 14 Russian Shaheds and a Su-34 jet.
The Shaheds were hit in Odesa, Mykolayiv, Zaporizhzhya, Kharkiv, Sumy and Dnipro regions.
There were casualties and injuries as a result of hits and falling debris in Odesa and Kharkiv regions.
