Norway is providing €140 million to purchase artillery shells for Ukraine in cooperation with the Czech Republic. The country has also joined the Air Defence Coalition, the press service of Ukrainian Ministry of Defence has reported.
"It is important for us that Norwegian military support helps to meet the needs that are a priority for Ukraine in its struggle," said Norwegian Defence Minister Bjørn Arild Gram.
The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine expressed gratitude to its Norwegian partners for their support and provision of critical military needs, including artillery shells and air defence reinforcement.
