Seven people have been injured in the city of Chuhuyiv in Kharkiv Region as a result of an attack by the occupiers. The Russians fired S300 missiles at the city centre, the Prosecutor General's Office said.

Among the wounded are two children: Born in 2006 and 2021, the Interior Ministry said. A nine-storey residential building, bus station, hotel, shops, and cars were damaged.

The head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, Oleh Synyehubov, also reported on the consequences of the hostile shelling on Telegram. In the morning, he said that seven civilians had been injured: four men, a 41-year-old woman, a 16-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl.

As of 7:26 a.m., he wrote about five wounded, three of whom had to be hospitalised. The three-year-old child was treated on the spot.

Damage was caused to shops and a hotel near a nine-storey residential building. About 13 cars were also hit.

Specialised services are working at the sites of the hits.

Under the procedural supervision of the Chuhuyiv District Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv Region, a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched.
