Today at around 01:30, the Russian armed forces fired six S-300 missiles at the town of Selydove, the Prosecutor General's Office reports.
According to the investigation, two sisters aged 30 and 35 were injured as a result of one of the missiles hitting a residential area. Both women were taken to hospital with mine-blast injuries, bruises and abrasions.
At least 18 private houses and 14 high-rise buildings, administrative buildings, two garages, five cars and power lines were damaged by the shelling.
For his part, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported on the operational situation in the Region as of the morning of 12 March.
Volnovakha district. A house was damaged in Novoukrayinka of the Vuhledar community.
Pokrovsk district. Selydove was hit by a missile attack - two people were wounded, 18 private houses, 14 high-rise buildings and two administrative buildings were damaged. Two more houses in the town were completely destroyed. Three houses were damaged in Hostre of the Kurakhove community.
Kramatorsk district. The outskirts of Kostyantynivka and Lyman communities came under fire, with no casualties or damage.
Bakhmut district. A person was wounded in Toretsk, 16 houses were damaged. Two private houses were damaged in Chasiv Yar community. In Soledar community, Razdolivka and Vasyukivka were shelled, in Zvanivka community - Pereyizne and Verkhnekamyanske.
Over the past day, Russians fired 16 times at settlements in Donetsk Region. 612 people were evacuated from the frontline, including 136 children.
