The European Commission has approved the negotiation framework for Ukraine's accession to the European Union, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.
According to him, the relevant proposals have been submitted to the EU Council.
"We are one step closer to the start of negotiations and our membership in the European Union. This step is a testament to Ukraine's achievements, our transformation and the fact that Ukraine will definitely be a member of the EU. Our government's priority is to make this happen as soon as possible," the prime minister stressed.
