Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyy arrived in Zaporizhzhya Region. He continues to work in the brigades holding the defence in the Zaporizhzhya sector. He posted this on Facebook.

"The operational situation in the area is under our control. The enemy continues to attack our positions in the areas of Robotyne and Verbove, but without much success. The hostilities are characterised by the numerous use of drones of all types in combination with artillery and mortar fire," Syrskyy wrote.

He noted that under such circumstances, attack drones are becoming the main striking weapon of ground units. "In such circumstances, only modern and powerful electronic warfare equipment can provide reliable protection for our servicemen.

"The confrontation between drones and electronic warfare has come to the fore, and only those who are the first to achieve a break from the enemy in this competition will have a chance to win," the Commander-in-Chief added.

Syrskyi also said that despite the difficult situation along the entire front line, they managed to launch the process of rotation and replacement of units and subunits that have been performing combat missions on the front line for a long time

"This will help stabilise the situation and have a positive impact on the moral and psychological state of our soldiers. In the course of work, I have made all the necessary decisions to improve the combat capabilities of our brigades," said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
