A generating unit at the Khmelnytskyy NPP has been reconnected to the grid after repairs, the press service of the Ministry of Energy has said.

"A generating unit at the Khmelnytskyy NPP was connected to the grid two weeks ahead of schedule after the necessary repairs," the ministry said.

Currently, due to the restrictions imposed by NPC Ukrenergo, the plant is supplying 300 MWh to the Ukrainian grid. After the restrictions are lifted, the unit will be given extra load.

In addition, on the evening of 30 March, emergency blackout schedules were applied in Donetsk, Dnipro, Sumy, and Poltava regions. The reason for this was network restrictions on the transmission system operator's trunk lines to prevent overloading of the cross-sections.
