After a nighttime attack on the region's energy infrastructure on 31 March, all electric transport in Odesa stopped, the Odesa city council reported.
"Due to the limited electricity supply, electric transport stops working. All the rolling stock is going to the depot. The number of medium and large buses has been increased on main routes," the statement reads.
On the night of 31 March, Russia attacked Odesa Region with Shahed drones. The air defence forces managed to shoot down eight drones, but the falling wreckage of the UAVs caused a fire at a power plant. No people were injured.
