Russia launches missiles from Crimea, explosions heard in Odesa

Russia launched missiles at mainland Ukraine from occupied Crimea on the afternoon of 25 March.

Shortly after the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Oleh Kiper, warned local residents that a missile was flying in the direction of Odesa, explosions were heard in the city, Suspilne reports.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces said another missile was coming in the direction of Poltava.

As of 6.26 p.m., the Air Force said that the air alert was over.
