Border guards repelled an attack by a Russian subversive group in Sumy Region, State Border Guard Service stated.
After exposing the saboteurs, the border guards immediately opened fire.
"A firefight broke out, and the reserves of the State Border Guard Service, the National Guard and the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including artillery, came to the rescue. The enemy retreated," the statement said.
