Russians hit Trypillya TPP in Kyiv Region

According to the regional military administration, there were no casualties. 

A critical infrastructure facility was damaged in Kyiv Region as a result of a massive Russian attack.

There is no information on injuries or deaths. This was reported by Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the RMA.

"Last night, the Region was massively attacked by kamikaze drones and missiles. The alert lasted more than 5 hours. Unfortunately, a critical infrastructure facility was attacked during an air raid in Kyiv Region," he said.

As of 7 a.m., they were still trying to extinguish the fire. 

The Office of the Prosecutor General added that a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched. 

"According to the investigation, in the morning of 11 April, the Russian armed forces attacked a critical infrastructure facility in Kyiv Region. Prosecutors, investigators, emergency services and experts are working at the scene," the statement said.

As of 11 a.m., firefighters continue to extinguish the fire caused by the attack. It has been partially extinguished. 

"All services are working in an enhanced mode. The maximum amount of equipment was involved. Power engineers and all services responded promptly and reconnected the power grid, so all residents of Kyiv Region now have electricity. Water supply and sewerage have been restored in the affected community," said the head of the RMA. 

In the morning, the mayor of city Ukrayinka, Oleksandr Turenko, urged the community residents to stock up on water and charge their devices. Ukrayinka is home to Trypillya TPP, the largest in the Region.
