On 11 April, Russian occupation forces attacked a thermal power plant in Sumy.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"Today, on 11 April, after 4 pm, the enemy launched an air strike with anti-aircraft missiles on the critical infrastructure of the city of Sumy - the local CHP plant. All necessary services are working at the scene," the regional military administration said.
According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties. The consequences of the attack are being investigated.
In addition, the Russians fired at the Esman community with cannon artillery. Two people were wounded. They were taken to a hospital in Hlukhiv.
According to the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, at 14:00, the aggressor attacked the Vorozhbianske community, where a 16-year-old boy and his mother were wounded. Vehicles, private households and power lines were damaged.
