The government has appointed Andriy Sybiga, who was deputy head of the Presidential Office, as First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine. At the same time, Deputy Foreign Minister Mykola Tochytskyy was fired. This was reported by MP Taras Melnychuk.
According to the UP, Tochytskyy will instead work in the Presidential Office, replacing Sybiga.
In addition, at today's meeting, the government appointed Ihor Lossovsky as Deputy Head of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience on Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitalisation. Before that, he was deputy head of the State Service of Ukraine for Ethnic Policy and Freedom of Conscience.
Who is Andriy Sybiga?
Since 2016, he has been Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Turkey. On 19 May 2021, he was dismissed from his post by a decree of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. On 31 May 2021, he became Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
In this position, he was engaged in international politics, participated in negotiations with foreign diplomats, including the special representative of China.

Mykola Tochytskyy has the rank of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary. In September 2021, he became Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, and before that was Ambassador to the European Union.
