Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko commented on the risks of spring and summer blackouts in Ukraine due to constant Russian shelling.

During the telethon, Halushchenko said that we should be prepared for different scenarios.

"When the Minister of Energy says, ‘Buy generators!’ it scares a bit. But in fact, I want to repeat what I said then: yes, buy, get ready, but we will do everything in our power to ensure that you do not need them. And as the winter has already shown, we have done everything and they were not needed. Massive attacks have now resumed, so we need to be prepared for any scenario," said the head of the Energy Ministry.

Halushchenko added that our country's partners provide ongoing support, supplying both equipment and raising funds for the Energy Support Fund of Ukraine. So far, he has accumulated more than €410 million, most of which has already been spent on the purchase of power equipment.
