PM of Netherlands on assistance to Ukraine: words, good intentions are not enough
Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte

Following a meeting with his counterparts from Denmark and the Czech Republic and the NATO Secretary General, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said that Ukraine needs more air defence equipment as soon as possible.

Rutte wrote about this on his page on the social network X.

"We must continue to help Ukraine defend itself against Russia's ongoing aggression. It is clear that words and good intentions are not enough. We need more air defence equipment as soon as possible. That is why today we talked about how this can be organised, and we will continue to work on this," Rutte stressed.

The Dutch prime minister noted that his country is cooperating with Denmark and the Czech Republic to supply artillery shells to Kyiv. Now we need to see what other countries can do for our country, Rutte added.

"It is quite obvious that we will do everything necessary to support Ukraine. For as long and as intensively as necessary. And this certainly includes efforts within NATO," the Dutch Prime Minister said.
