On the afternoon of 8 May, the Russian army attacked Kharkiv. The territory of a school was damaged.
According to updated reports, seven people were injured, including children. This was reported by the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Synyehubov.
Initially, it was known that two children were injured, but gradually information about other victims was received.
"According to preliminary information, the hit was recorded in an open area on the territory of the educational institution. There is information about two injured children - boys aged 13 and 15," said Synyehubov.
In addition, a boy aged 12 was wounded - the head of the RMA reported this at 13:54.
According to Terekhov, the condition of one child is serious. At 14:09, Synyehubov provided updated data: in addition to children, two adults were wounded. They are a 55-year-old man and an 80-year-old woman.
As of 17:22, the number of wounded increased to seven. An 8-year-old girl and three boys aged 14, 14 and 15 were injured. Two of the boys are in serious condition, one boy and one girl are in average condition. They are hospitalised.
In addition, a 55-year-old civilian man with moderate injuries was also taken to hospital.
"Two women, aged 80 and 32, are in light condition - they were treated on the spot," said Synyehubov.
During the telethon, Synyehubov said that the wounded boys were playing football near the school at the time of the attack. The boys are in extremely serious condition. The hit took place in the Saltovka district.
Social media reported that there was no siren before the strike.
