Today, on 9 May, drones attacked the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat oil refinery in Russia's Bashkortostan, more than 1,300 kilometres from Ukraine. This was reported by Russian media, including Astra, and the head of Bashkortostan. 

It is noted that a fire broke out on the territory of the plant. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

Baza writes that the drone hit a catalytic cracker, after which a fire broke out.

The information about the drone attack was confirmed by the head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov. He claims that the company is operating normally.

Earlier, LB.ua's sources said that last night, SBU drones hit two Russian oil transshipment depots. These oil depots are used to supply fuel to Russian troops in Crimea, as they are located nearby.
