The Pentagon managed to stop the unauthorised use of Starlink terminals by the Russian military in the war with Ukraine.
The head of the US Department of Defence's Space Policy Division, John Plum, told Bloomberg in an interview.
Plum noted that the United States "has been actively working with the government of Ukraine and SpaceX to counter Russia's illegal use of Starlink terminals."
"As of now, we have successfully countered Russian use, but I am confident that Russia will continue to try to find ways to use Starlink and other commercial communications systems," said the Pentagon's head of space policy.
However, he refused to specify what tactics, methods or procedures were used to stop Russia from using Starlink terminals.
Plum stressed that these solutions were found jointly with Starlink and Ukraine.
