At around 5am, Russians attempted to break through the Ukrainian defence line in Kharkiv Region. The defenders repelled these attacks, and fighting of varying intensity continues, the Ministry of Defence said.
Also at night, the Russians intensified artillery shelling along the front line of defence. Throughout the day, the enemy carried out air strikes in the Vovachanskyy sector using KABs.
"Reserve units have been deployed to reinforce defence in this sector. The Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the Russian offensive," the statement said.
