Today's drone strike on an oil refinery in Bashkiria was a special operation by the SBU, according to sources, LB.ua reported.
"Russia continues to celebrate the 'explosive' 9 May. After a night attack on two oil depots in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia, in the morning a long-range drone 'visited' the Republic of Bashkortostan, where it hit the Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat refinery. The drone hit the catalytic cracking unit," the sources said.
According to the sources, it was a Security Service drone that set a historical record by flying a distance of 1,500 km.
"Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat is one of Russia's largest oil refining and petrochemical production complexes. It specialises in the production of petrol, diesel fuel and other types of petroleum products.
Sources said that now Russian refineries and oil depots operating for the military-industrial complex cannot feel safe even in the deep rear.
