Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Oleksiy Kuleba has denied receiving an offer to head the Ministry of Regional Development, which will be separated from the Ministry of Infrastructure.
He said this in a comment to a LB.ua correspondent on the sidelines of the Second International Summit of Cities and Regions. He said that he had not read the news since the morning, as he was busy organising the summit.
"I have not received any offers. I've been here since the morning because I am the organiser of this international summit and I can't comment on anything. I am even without a mobile phone, without news," he said.
According to Kuleba, he has not had any discussions about his appointment as minister before.
Oleksiy Kuleba joined the Presidential Office from the position of the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration. He is in charge of regional policy in the Office.
