The Swedish government will provide Ukraine with military support worth SEK 25 billion ($2.3 billion) annually under a new three-year programme, Bloomberg reports.
Stockholm can provide military assistance to Kyiv in the period 2024-2026 by donating equipment, making financial contributions and supporting the purchase of defence materials.
"Sweden will support Ukraine's struggle for as long as it takes," the ministers emphasise.
After Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Sweden provided Ukraine with training, tanks, combat vehicles, ammunition and other equipment worth about SEK 30 billion.
